There are 19 new regional headquarters and functional institutes of multinational companies recognized by the province, bringing the total up to 210, taking up 53.2% of the province's total. 173 foreign invested R&D centers and foreign invested open innovative platforms were newly approved. 528 outbound investment projects were newly established in 2023, the amount of the overseas contracted investment hit US $ 2.7 billion, of which the contracted investment in countries and regions along the Belt and Road routes increased by 51.8%. 521 China-Europe freight trains were operated throughout the year.
Suzhou Industrial Park(SIP) ranked first in the comprehensive evaluation of all national economic development zones for the eighth consecutive year. The China-Netherlands Technology Innovation Port was officially launched, and China-Saudi Center settled in Suzhou.
