Photo taken on Nov. 5 shows the construction site of an expansion project of the Guoxin Shazhou Power Plant in Jinfeng Town, Zhangjiagang City. This project is a national-level power project which aims at accelerating the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and highly efficient energy system in Jiangsu Province. With a total investment of 8.24 billion yuan, the 2×1,000,000-kilowatt power project is expected to be connected to the grid by the end of 2025.
